Camping de l’Etang du Goulot at Lormes
Welcome to the site of the Camping de l’Etang du Goulot at Lormes, in the Morvan, the heart of Burgundy. The campsite is located on a lovely swimming and fishing lake with a sandy beach and playground, on a terrain of approx. 2.5 ha with 64 pitches for tents, caravans and campers. Furthermore, the campsite offers a variety of rental accommodations:
The site is in a former location of an old train station on the Corbigny – Saulieu line.
The reception and restaurant Bistro du Goulot are located in the station building.
Surroundings of the Morvan
The Etang du Goulot, an intimate campsite, located at an altitude of 420 meters, on the edge of the authentic village of Lormes (1,500 inhabitants), department of Nievre, Burgundy, in the Parc du Morvan, close to reservoirs such as Lac de Chaumeçon, Lac des Settons, Lac du Crescent and Lac de Pannecière and authentic places such as Vézelay, Avallon, Clamecy and Autun. The town of Lormes lies on the western edge of the Morvan; the perched church can be seen from the wide area.

The campsite has two toilet blocks, a washing machine, bicycles and go-karts, canoe rental, book and magazine rental, games, tourist information, bread service (during the high season) and WIFI at reception. Furthermore, a table tennis table, mini golf course and playground. During the high season, a pleasant (musical) evening is regularly organized at the campsite.
The area is ideal for short or long hiking or cycling trips directly from the campsite. Within a radius of 10 kilometers, you can go rafting, canoeing, horse riding, quad biking and renting mountain bikes.
At 500 meters you will find the village center of Lormes, with supermarket and other shops such as bakery, newsagent, pharmacy, butcher, café, ATM and petrol pump.
The campsite is open from April 1 to November 1 …
and is managed by the Dutch couple Maurice and Claudine.
